Welcome the New Year with a Bang

1. Texas Red Grapefruit Smoothie (1 serving)

This delicious recipe takes only 6 minutes to make and calls for 4 simple but utterly satisfying ingredients. This is an amazing on-the-go breakfast meal for those mornings when you want something light or quick.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1 Winter Sweetz Texas red grapefruit peeled
  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup of fresh orange juice

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until completely smooth. Add ice if you want a thicker consistency.

2. Pineapple & Grapefruit Smoothie (3 servings)

If you have a hankering for something a little tropical, this smoothie is the one for you! Citrusy and beyond delicious, this is another 4 ingredient smoothie that’s great when you’re on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1 Winter Sweetz grapefruit peeled
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ½ cup frozen pomegranate arils
  • 1 ¼ cups of coconut water

Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until smooth or until desired consistency is reached.

3. Green Grapefruit Smoothie (1 serving)

If your feeling a little more adventurous and have a love for avocados, then this Green Grapefruit Smoothie is the one for you. This low sugar recipe is a great energy booster, all while giving you a healthy portion of your daily greens.

Ingredients

  • ¼ avocado
  • 1 thumb-sized knob fresh ginger
  • 1 cup of green tea
  • 1 lime
  • ½ of Winter Sweetz Texas red grapefruit peeled
  • 2 handfuls of fresh spinach
  • ¾ cup of fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 scoop of protein powder (your choice)
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 6 ice cubes

Place everything in a blender, except your ice cubes, and blend on high until smooth. Once smooth, add the ice cubes to the mix and continue blending until you reach desired consistency. Pour and serve.

4. Grapefruit Peach Raspberry Smoothie

This refreshing lunch smoothie is the perfect beverage to get your spring started off right.

Ingredients

  • 1 Winter Sweetz grapefruit peeled
  • 1 peach
  • 1 cup of frozen raspberries
  • ½ cup coconut milk (or any milk)

Put ingredients into a blender, turn to high power on your blender until completely smooth. Serve and enjoy!
